Handling is great and the interior is a little nicer than the '03 STi.
 What's refinement?

Yes, they're really torquey cars stock and the 6 speed is geared quite
nicely. The Defi's are nice, I have a couple friends with those
wallclocks installed.

Reg the 993tt rotor on a custom hat, I have a friend working on making
me a set of hats for this. If you can get your hands on a spare front
rotor, I can have him make up a hat for that little ricebox of yours,
too. Go for a front mount and forget about the Samco hoses (except
for the radiator hoses), the fitment hasn't gotten any better and the
engine tends to keep that top mount intercooler nice and warm. For
the exhaust, I'd go with Invidia from the block on back. The Invidia
header's a really nice piece, but their turboback's a bit on the loud
side. If you're looking to not attract that much attention, take a
listen to the Fujitsubo system. It's barely louder than stock, a lot
less restrictive, but doesn't make as much power as an Invidia or
TurboXS. At idle, though, it's almost Stromungish, maybe even
quieter. The header also gets rid of that rough boxer idle with the
equal length runners, making it sound smoother, almost like a Porsche.

A friend of mine just picked up a Z06 Le Mans, nice car. Too bad he's
going to keep it in the garage most of the winter, I would've loved to
run him at Steamboat. :-)
