[s-cars] Optima battery

Speaking of batteries, at least 1 day each month my battery symbol will
come on in the Autocheck.  It will stay of for 5 seconds or so and then
go out; never to re-appear until next month.  I thought it might be my
voltage regulator so I replaced it, but yesterday I got my monthly
battery symbol again.  I've never had any problems with a dead battery
or slow cranking, or anything that would indicate a problem battery.
The battery itself is 10 months old.  Are there any connections (besides
the obvious terminal connections) that I should check for
looseness/corrosion?
