Hi Phil,

I've been interested in this also since damaging my front bumper cover 
this past fall.  

My research seems to indicate that the bumpers *should* be 
interchangeable, but since I haven't actually replaced the front bumper 
on my '93 S4 yet, I can't say any more than that.  

I'm intending to replace it with a North American S6 front bumper cover 
(and a LLTek lower valence shortly after that), but so far haven't been 
able to locate an affordable bumper cover from a doner car anywhere in 
Canada.  Dealer prices for this item are too much $$$.

If you go ahead and try it, please let us know how it goes.  I for one 
would be most interested in any gotchas that might come up.
