Just to clear this up for myself, I understand the reasoning behind
saying that the K27 is a better solution for high HP cars. And I do
agree that, whatever Audi did in the 80's, was probably extremely well
thought out, but they were not concerned in the least about low end
power or drivability. So for those of us who want to be driving the
car to work on the nicer days, and only 1-2 non-competitive track days
a year. What do you recommend? Personally I'm more concerned with
stepping on the gas at 2500-3000 rpm and feeling a nice strong pull
than I am about making over 400 horsepower at 6800, for the way I
drive the car, that's not practical power.
If I'm reading you correctly (and I may not be with all this technical
turbo talk) it sounds like the Rs2 is still the better solution for
"most" of us?
