[s-cars] What's that smell?

S-Heads,

Well, I've gone and done it!

October 1st: RS2 EM (thanks to Chris Chambers), RS2 Turbo (thanks to GP in
January) and 4th generation Stromung exhaust system (thanks to Posto, AKA
Jeff Postupack) installed.

Noticeably quicker at the higher RPMs and OMFG! the purr/growl of this thing
is something else.  SOOOOO satisfied!

Problem: after putting the spurs on and taking the beast for the first real
spin I noticed a potent smell of burning plastic.  Took it in to the
mechanic who did the work and he said it could be some stickers that they
missed on the exhaust system and that it should subside in a week or so.
Here we are 3 weeks out and still get the smell when I really punch it.  The
smell seems to emanate from the back of the engine bay, but we can not
pinpoint it.  Ideas?

Another one that I've been sitting on for far too long: my clutch is getting
more sticky... Especially since I made the aforementioned mods.  Instead of
coming all the way back off the floor toward me, the clutch will stick
around halfway.  It will still engage, but I think it may be time for a
Centerforce.  Slippery slope getting to my head?  You tell me.
