[s-cars] CD changer woes

Hoping for some further insight here on my malfunctioning 10 disc changer:

It was intermittently not pulling certain CDs, then progressed to not pull
any and also wouldn't eject.  Suggestions from a few here said a CD was
jammed 1/2 loaded as well as that the 'rollers' needed to be cleaned.

Guess what?  As always 'the list' was right.  Problem is, now, the changer
pulls each of the 10 CDs, spins them for a brief second, stops, then moves
on to the next CD...  through all 10.  None 'play'.

Now WTF?  I know, buy a 'new' one off ebay for $25 but I'm trying to avoid
that.  Any BTDT suggestions appreciated!  TIA.
