Anyone have some thoughts?

RS2 Fuel Injector corrrected flow rates....

Some fodder for discussion. Mike Pederson had actually sent a batch of real production (random) RS2 injectors over to RC engineering to get them tested. At 43psi fuel pressure RC popped up 360cc. That created panic on all these lists, cuz Bosch has published numbers all over the map.

Let's go to Russ Collins explanation of his tests and see if we can get a better real world app #.
To find the Bosch flow rate pressure of 3.8bar (common Juju B RS2 FPR)from Collin's RC numbers, he says to to this

((Flow rate/test flow rate)^2)* original test pressure = flow at 3.8bar

So we do Collin's math to the S car
((410cc/360)^2)*43 = 410cc at 3.8bar

If we look to translate this to lbs per hour (bosch) it would be 410cc/10.5 = 39lb/hr at 1bar (boost line disconnected from FPR)

What happens when boost is added to a rising rate FPR? My more (or less) obvious question, what is the maximum pressure rise from a stock bosch FPR?

Some thoughts as I read these Fuel Injector posts.
