I presume you are talking about tile nippers Gabriel? I used same and I do
agree they work famously.

I just replaced my LF Outer CV Boot. I followed the tech procedure
here: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc27.shtml more or less. I didn't
have to take the suspension apart at all to remove the half shaft
(surprise!). Everything went smoothly. It seems like a lot of things are
easier on the S4 than other cars. I went a step further than the tech
procedure and I took the joint completely apart to clean it and repack
it. I know that at least one person here frowns on using a drift to
remove the joint but it was really easy. The job was not difficult at
all but it was a dirty mother. If you don't have the proper crimp tool I
have found that nippers work well.
