[s-cars] after run pump help needed

hello i'm back after a few years of lurking in the archives. my brother just emailed to say that his 2.7 twin turbo has a coolant leak that is coming from the after run pump. in this motor the pump is located at the back of the motor underneath the intake manifold and the bentley gives about 10 pages of parts removal just to gain access to it. does anyone have a simple practical method to fix this? please.
