Is this to say that the car will not start?  How'bout a little more  info?
That said, I'll take urS fixes for $500 Alex -
You're driving along and the car suddenly and inexplicably dies.
It will not restart.
Answer is (could be,)
"What is a coil shorted to ground?"
 
If it is this, you can pull no ecu codes and the 15 amp fuse (blue  colored) 
above the ecu will 
be blown.  Better electro engineers than me can explain how to figure  out 
which one is gone,
but one way is to get a half dozen fuses and disconnect each coil one by  
one.  Turn the
ignition on each time and when the fuse does NOT blow, that's the bad  coil. 
IMHO coils should be changed every 110k or so but I have only done one  since 
I'm waiting for
a big coil GP along with a big Spark plug GP... that may never come:(
