As long as you are still running 9005 bulbs in the high beam location,
it'll
work like a charm.

Sorry to dip in to this discussion rather late but.....
Will this conversion (applied to hi beams only) work with my current euro
lenses and HID low beams?
While the HID low beams with euro lenses was an awesome improvement I
would also like to improve the high beams.
Suggestions?
Thanks
Aaron

Mike,I'm one of those whom thought the 9012/11 conversion is worththe
effort. The lows fill in nicely, and with a little judicious aiming, are
really quite effective, totally blowing away the Euro's in my200Q
(probably the equal of the 7" round Euro's in my nowdeceased GTi, so
can't do a head to head comparo). The high beams, as Paul has mused, are
downright RIDICULOUS. I haven'tfound a straight long enough to find the
total reflective range of the the beams. The road curves or dips LONG
before they run out. The only disappointment with the low beams is the US
pattern(only works for DOT projectors) loses the Euro kick up, sothe
lighting to the side and of street signs isn't up to the parof Euros,
otherwise nothing lacking in terms of lighting performance. And, this is
with moderately pitted DOT lenses and no relays. Go for it! You won't be
disappointed. LL - NY

text/plain; charset=us-asciiMy low beams definately need help. There
seem to belots of options, and I don't have them sorted out yet. Maybe
somebody can give me some advice?I don't drive the car that often at
night, so I'minterest in the biggest bang for the
buck - no HIDsystem for me, thanks.I'm figuring I'd replace the internal
DOT lenses withthe Euro lenses. That would be about $80 from Puma,if I
recall.Would these GP bulbs work in these lenses? Would Ineed to change
the pigtail connector to do it? Iassume no relays are required?Anything
else I should be considering?ThanksMike--- Matthew Pelkey
