Assuming you don't have a vagcom to do it, it says the ecu
has to be disconnected for thirty seconds to clear 2341.  Heck that may also fix your airbag light now that you've
cleaned the contacts.
Maybe all that cool new shell super cleaner gas has created a
clogged injector?? or maybe check your fuel lines where IIRC
you had some rust repair (loss of fuel pressure?)
At any rate I'd recommend:
Adding all RS2 upgrades and dumping in a bottle of fine
German or French Canadian ale.  Failing that, a bottle of
Techron may do the trick, butofcourse that would be too EZ.
