[s-cars] 94 S4 Ignition switch

The original KB recall circular called for replacing the '94 S4 
ignition switch with part # 4A0 905 851L and required drilling the old 
assembly to release the lock cylinder to install in the new part.  As 
Bob has stated the electrical half is the broken part and is much less 
complicated to change, and the 4A0 905 849B part is what I replaced as 
well.

As for your a/c problems, the faulty switch remaining in the start 
position cut out power to the a/c, but, if so, helping the switch back 
to run after starting should temporarily provide correction and a 
diagnosis of your problem.
