Hi Dave,

I've been reading this thread with interest.  I've been doing some
experimentation of my own.  Currently I'm running RS2 EM, 42# racetronix
fuel injectors, stock exhaust, w/034 T04E hybrid 57 trim and Mihnea
chipset (this uses a modified k26 turbine housing and t3 turbine wheel).

My initial goal was RS2 like performance without the RS2 price (much
like yourself).  I was disappointed with the low end response from the
turbo as the response is very slow from the 57 trim (roughly 2psi at
2800, 5 at 3k, 15 at 3.5k, 21 at 4k+

I'll be installing a different turbo next week, an 034 T04B (40 trim if
memory servers) compressor wheel w/modified k24 turbine wheel and
housing.  This combo hasn't been tried before but my goal is to run the
same peak boost of around 21-22psi yet have it ramp up to full boost no
later than 3k.

No dyno numbers on the 57 trim, but I will have dyno numbers for the new
turbo on the 25th (as well as numbers for before/after the
Swanson/Mullane FMIC kit....)
