Marc, what K26 housing are you using? The #8 is not working for us. Our
latest route was to try the "stage1" turbine wheel. This is the smallest wheel
we can get, but it is in an 8 housing. We're still not happy with the
threshold. The only answer available is to try a 6 housing, or a K24 variant...
neither of which is available in the aftermarket.

Your boost numbers vs rpm are very similar (but a bit lower) to ours with the
previously mentioned setup. We are running a 5000+ft, however, which
accounts for a lot. My guess is that our current turbo would be excellent at sea
level, but for our location, it isn't a great solution.

That sounds like a good idea. I think I would have opted for the 46 trim, as
it's capable of delivering 41lbs/minute... which is about what we need. The
K24 turbine, is IMHO, the only KKK hot side that will provide RS2-like
results. After all, the RS2 uses a K24 housing that only differs from our stock K24
turbos in the machining of the exducer bore... and the wheel itself.

Good luck, and post your results. Make sure you get the exact specs on your
new turbo... particularly what turbine housing and wheel you're using.
Take care,
Dave
