I think the reason that we got a dual exhaust system was the car was already
engineered for it via the V6 and, since it has such large capacity (600 hp
or so they say), I am sure the Audi engineers just decided to raid the parts
bin (and keep inventory requirements down).  "ALL" they had to do was design
the turbo to cats "Y" pipe.

Dunno about that one Dave...  I recently noted how a C4 V6's tips are
actually larger (and cooler) than those castrated suckers we got on the UrS.
If the tips are different I'd venture the rest of system is as well in and
out...

Just a guess though.  And damn that we didn't get those V6 tips, those I
could have likely lived with
