Where does one get this "ECS Stage III" system?
Thank you in advance,
Kevin

Paul,
I would upgrade to the ECS Stage III for $500 bucks. Includes
new brackets, Porsche Rotors, and Hats. Not sure if you have to send
back the other brackets...but you could be right. In terms of pads I
think you should be fine w/ the OEM Textar Pads based on your driving.

Gents-
So my 993 / Euro A8L / Mintex red "Johnny Law Avoidance System" has
lasted a
staggeringly amazing ~ 40-45k and my pads are now <finally> thinner than
my
wallet (microscopic). Time for replacement. How they lasted this long
is
beyond me, my brakes get, er, um, USED.
Seriously pondering the P rotors just to save the weight, but the $$$
difference is going to be a tough nut to sell the wife on. We'll see.
ECS
gives free 'trade in' for the requisite brackets for the change, right?
My
rotors are likely toast, they do shudder slightly... right?
THAT said... I'm considering likely either OEM Textar pads or some sort
of
Hawk pad (???), based off of previous feedback gleaned from some of you
here. My Q's for you all are:
1) which way to go? Car is daily driver in northeast, sees ~ 20k / yr.
of
'thorough daily enjoyment' (yeah thaaat's it)...
2) costs of each? If there is a huge differential that may be my
answer...
TIA, suggestions appreciated!
