Dave:  If I remember correctly, you are in Courtenay/Comox on Vancouver Island (if not, it does really matter).   I suggest buying the X-plug c/w new O-ring from somebody like VM AutoHaus in Burnaby.  Tell Kris (or Wally) I sent you.  Kris knows his way around the S-car parts and will get you set up very quickly.
