[s-cars] DOT headlight cost....Pricing info neded!

Dealing with the insurance company, bodyshop has quoted ~$600 for the
PAssenger's side headlight assembly. Insurance company's outside
estimate appraisal "expert" came up with a cost of $190.

Well I being the inquisitive sort called teh supplier and discovered
that they don't have headlights (L or R) for a UrS4, but if they did it
would be $302. I kindly bring this up to the in house insurance
adjuster who sends the info to the outside estimate appraisal "expert".
Said estimate appraisal "expert" then says, well it was in stock but
now they can't get it. Insurance company is trying to stick by the $190
replacement cost. This wouldn't normally be a problem because the shop
would just by the part and submit the invoice for reimbursement.

But because I have acquired a used headlight in the hopes of defraying
my deductible, I argued with the adjuster and they are sending somebody
to look at my car and write a seperate estimate.

So with that being needlessly said, anybody know the true cost for a
new headlight assembly for a 93 S4? Local Stealer couldn't figure it
out, just tried to tell me it was the same as an Audi 100 and was
~$200, which I know isn't true.
