Obviously Mr. Stang was a punk kid who deserved to be put in cuffs.  
I'm sure if it were you instead, a short discussion of the benefits of 
quattro and the turbo I5 would have shown the officer that you are an 
intelligent, cautious driver who should be allowed to continue.
