When the S4 was new it was supposed to get 23mpg on the highway.  As we
know these figures are usually BS.  To get 22.4 mpg sounds excellent to
me WITH *5* people in the car and *A FULL TRUNK*.

2.774 gals / 62.14 miles

Actual, Gabriel, I show that as a little over 22 miles/gallon. 
Doesn't seem that great to me. I got about 27 recently on my trip to
South Dakota averaging 78 mph.
