[s-cars] RE: Non-working key fob

I read the May archives and tried again last night to no avail. One post
mentioned that the beep may or may not work (sounds like my car). I am
thinking that the RF box must be confused and needs to be cleared of all
codes then re-programmed or the RF box is not getting the RF signal. I
tried the clear all codes procedure (push open button 5 times in 5
seconds and wait 6 seconds then push open again) and still noting
happens.
Does anyone know where the antenna is for the RF remote? I tried to
trace the coax wire going into the box under the seat but it goes off
behind the seat and is hard to trace without tearing the whole car
apart.

Great. The bad thing for mine is, it worked until the battery died.
Now, you and I are in the same position. I'd consider the dealer
(I've a warrantee, but it's got a $200 deductable, and they charge,
get this, $95 an hour. Guess I'd use that deductable up in a hurry....)
