Mine too. Some details:

1995.5 S6 Avant. Emerald/Ecru. 175K miles.

New custom RS2 Comp turbo cold side/K26 #6, RS2 Exhaust Manifold, RS2
injectors, RS2 Mass Air Flow Sensor, new coil packs, new drive shaft,
new Porsche 993 Twin Turbo Brake Calipers, New Spec II Clutch, new
Eibach Springs, new Bilstein shocks, Spearco 18 x 6 x 3.5 Front Mounted
Intercooler, new 3 inch Stromung exhaust, new Turbo XS bypass valve, 2
sets of wheels (both Audi, 18" and 16" with new tires), new race
adjustable rear sway bar HRSB (the best, almost impossible to get, needs
installation, easy), new Davtron dual temp/delta temp intercooler temp
gauge (the best, needs installation), a K27/#8 turbo for your next
upgrade, and a ton of new parts.

Paint is 8 out of 10 could get to 9ish with bumper re-spray and a paint
detail. Interior is a 9 out of 10, could get to 9.5 with a interior
detail, no rips or tears, minor wear, just spots on carpets.

I figure using Cody Payne's dyno plus the FMIC the crank is ~405 hp and
~450 tq. It's pretty quick.

I'm thinking $16.5K. Car is in Los Angeles.

Email for pics only if you are serious. 2MB in size.

And I'd rather not start a thread about WHY I'm selling. Car is perfect
for me, but I have no mechanical support. The perfect mechanic has
turned out to have other interests, and has moved on. Next best thing
is 75 miles away, through LA traffic. Call it a 3 hour drive each way.
I'm approaching heartbreak...

Bypass Valve, Bilsteins, Eibachs, Big Reds, Spec II Clutch.

Hi Steve,
I am selling my 1995.5 S6 avant with 153k also. I have
owned it for 3 yrs. I would look for the following:
1) Timing belt has been done WITH german water pump,
roller, seals, thermostat
2) Check to see that the front control arm bushings,
tie rod ends, strut mounts, and swaybar end bushings
are done. Cheap money to do it yourself, but takes a
little effort. Inside tire wear is a good sign they
are going.$150 in parts
3) Camber adjustment links in rear suspension, inside
tire wear occurs for that too. $220 parts
4)Clutch replaced. Mine was getting too damn hard to
push. Not a fun job. $300 parts $1200 labor(if you pay
someone)
5)Afterun coolant pump has been done or not leaking
$90
6)Plugs, valve cover gasket fuel filter.

I'll email you my detailed maintenance sheet for my
avant. You can see what has been done up to 150k
miles. The car your looking at should most likely need
to match that.

Feel free to email me with questions.

If it's the one on ebay, proceed cautiously, but could
be a nice car. Timing belt job looked to be botched
and trashed the head, it was repaired. The fog light
is not standard to S6 cars and is in fact blocking the
oil cooler intake.

Good Luck in your search. They are great cars.

Mike( parting ways with the avant) P

I am looking at a 95.5 S6 Avant on Weds and was
wondering what I should
be on the lookout for? It has had a timing belt and
the scheduled
maintenance done. BTW, 155k miles on the odo... how
much more can I
expect before major expenses and what will they be?

Thanks,
Steven Verona
