Mine did that too.   I lasted about a week and then all of my coolant blew
out while I was on the highway.     It was at a less than convenient time.
;-|

The new reservoir was a rip off too.

OK guys,

Have another leak. It's from the coolant expansion reservoir. The
collectionof moisture around the outside edge suggests it may be coming from
the seam. But, I noticed the cap was hissing letting pressure escape and
just wondering if these stretch with time and allow cooalnt to excape. It
wasn't obvious from any coolant trail that it was coming from teh cap
