[s-cars] Original Chips

Gas mileage of ~15 miles/gallon isn't that outrageous considering what you
said earlier. We're only slated to get 17 mpg in the city, and you're only
going 10 miles at a time. I got similar gas mileage when I was commuting in
Chicago, and the car's doing ok now that I'm out in the country. As long as
you've checked all the easy stuff (fuel filter, air filter, change the oil,
etc) and make sure you don't have sticking parking brakes, I don't really
see how the chip is going to make a huge difference.
Besides, if you're looking to semi-permanently hobble the car like that, you
might as well trade in for a C4 A6 or something! These cars were meant to
run, man! :)

opened the DME) and used to be better, not much but not the 210 miles per
tank I seem to get now. Plus I was harder on the right pedal back then!

dreamy...Heck 20MPG with stock levels of power would sit right by me now...
