[s-cars] Cranking problems...

Hello all. I (well my brother and I) just replaced the timing belt on
my 92 S4, good thing we did too because we were able to just pull it
off !eek!.
Anyways, everything was running fine and dandy until yesterday. The
car is now taking a lot of cranking to fire up, and only when its
cold. If its been running, even for a short amount of time (like less
then 5 mins) it will still fire right up.
It never did this before, even in sub-zero temps when the FP would
complain because it probably had some moisture in it. Everything
besides the starting is running fine. Idles fine, pulls strong, no
hesitation or nothing, and all temps reach normal as they did before.
Haven't pulled the codes yet, but am going to try to tonight.
And the battery is brandy new with in the last few months. Will the
check voltage out though to see if its charging strong. Where should I
place the multimeter for this? Right from the battery or somewhere
else?
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help!
