Funny, I got one from them the other day also... we must be on the same
junk-mail list!
My only tidbit here is that I was told State Farm always writes
estimates for OEM parts, and doesn't haggle the way lots of other
companies do for cheaper used or after-market parts when fixing damage.
The body shop that fixed and sprayed my hood told me that (after i had
a run-in with a 6 foot piece of retread on I25). I have yet to file a
claim with state farm so cannot confirm. It may just be the adjusters
in my area, but somehow i doubt that.
