Last call- we still need a few people for flagging at the NEQ driver
education event at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, NH.
You will be paid, and lunch both days is on us. I need all flaggers at
the track by 8AM.; you'll have to be out on-station from about 9 to 5
(we bring everyone in for lunch 12-1). If you can only come one day,
that's fine. NHIS can see wind, rain, and sun all in the space of a few
hours- it looks to be cool and overcast according to the forecast, but
bring a backpack or bag with some extra clothes, hat, sunglasses,
sunscreen, plenty of water, etc. Clothing can't be red/yellow/orange
since that's close or the same as some flags; white is suggested.
If you don't have any prior flagging experience, that's OK, but I would
need you to come up Sunday afternoon if possible for a quick tutorial on
flagging, radio communications, and club track operational
rules...probably around 2-3, I haven't picked a time yet. There really
isn't time for this the morning of the event.
The Red Roof Inn is barely 5-10 minutes away and is $50-ish a night.
There might even be cheaper stuff a little further away, not sure-
should be plenty of rooms in the area given the proximity to Concord,
maybe 20 minutes away.
If you're interested, let me know which days you could make it, prior
experience either driving or working, whether you can come to the
tutorial Sunday if necessary, and a number I can reach you this
evening/Saturday.
Thanks!
Brett
