[s-cars] S6 Door Handle Removal

The saga continues.  I am trying to do everything I can to prepare for
the upcoming paint job on my S6.  Here is my latest challenge.  I need
to remove the door handle from the passenger door.  The inside panel
is off.  The component carrier is out.  Mr. Bentley says that the door
handle trim needs to be removed before the handle can come out.

He references a locking pin that needs to be extracted for the trim to
come off.  I have not been able to do this.  I am not even sure I am
looking at the right thing.  Has anyone on the list done this and can
give some advice?

Then, what's next.  The Bentley is rather terse in its description of
a locking device and a screw (the locking device has been pushed and
the screw removed, but there has to be more because the handle
mechanism does not want to move).

Anyway, let me know if you have helpful hints.
