[s-cars] Desperate! - Turn Signals Not Working on '92 S4

I'm bubbling this back up to the top for my '92 S4 because I'm beyond
frustration and can't figure this out and need your collective wisdom.
 
1.	Where is the turn signal relay?
2.	Why won't my turn signals work?!?! Ugh.
 
I replace the windshield wiper arm last weekend because of a smoking
problem. Windshield wipers now work and everything else appears to work
EXCEPT the turn signals.
 
To replace the wiper switch I did the following:
 
*	Removed right passenger kick panel
*	Removed Motronic plastic cover
*	Disconnected airbag connector
*	Removed airbag
*	Removed steering wheel
*	Removed switches from steering column
*	Reassembled everything in reverse order.
 
As I mentioned, all other electrical accessories work including the cruise
control and the bright light switch on the turn signal lever.
 
I'm totally mystified and I'm hoping it's the turn signal relay, but can't
figure out which one it is.
