[s-cars] Desperate! - Turn Signals Not Working on '92 S4 - FIXED!!

I figured out the problem!!
 
Being the cheap ba$tard I am, I bought a WIPER switch from our local junk
dealer. The switch "appears" to be the same, but on close inspection, there
are two pins missing from this wiper switch. 
 
As it turns out, the signal lever relays connectivity to the wiper side of
the switches via small connectors between the two sides. When you switch the
turn signal on (L or R), this connects to the wiper side and up the pins
THAT ARE MISSING!!!
 
The pins on the wiper side are broken off. Ugh!
 
So, I'll return that switch to the junk and buy a new one. Lesson learned I
guess...
