[s-cars] Who's got the loudest exhaust now? Frank!

I have to agree that the sound that a performance exhaust makes is
addictive!

I replaced my system with a dual 2.5" pipes hooked up to a 2.5"
dual-in-dual-out Magnaflow muffler at the rear. I replaced the system
starting about 4" from where the wastegate pipe enters the down-pipe and
put a "Y" just aft of the front axles just below the transmission.

I don't get the impression that the car is that loud from inside the
car, however, I drove by a friend of mine (unplanned) the other day; he
later said that the car sounded awesome and that sounded like it had a
NASCAR V8 in it. The only problem is that the neighbors are now calling
me the "Hot Rod Kid"; which I take as a complement. ;)

On the plus side...the turbo spools up WAY quicker.

I'm leaving the system this way until the end of the month as I will be
taking it to the track to attend a driving school (and get my comp
license). However, for my wifes sanity and to save my marriage, the
plan is to install the second muffler (same as what is installed now)
where the resonator used to be. It probably won't quieten it down that
much at wot, but maybe remove some of the low end rumble that it makes.
However, I have designed the system so that removing the second muffler
will be a simple swap out with the straight pipes.

Cheers
Robin
