you should be aware that the new SM spec is said to have lower levels
of anti-wear additives in order to satisfy new pollution standards.
mobil 1 extended performance has the previous SL spec level of additives
and does not meet the new SM spec.

some people are refusing to use the new SM oil in their cars and are
rushing out to buy up all the SL oil they can find.
