I was just thinking that. If they are marketing this to be a 15,000
mile oil how would they get away with having less wear additives and
less protection?

My guess it that they might be doing this for the
environment/pollution concernes and the fact you need to change your
oil less, produce less waste oil and stuff like that is where they see
the gains.
