My sentiment exactly. There is nothing more frustrating than using
cheap badly designed tools. Yes, the cube brake tool will work. But
you'll likely have to file the nubs slightly to get them to fit right,
and as Keith stated they're a pain to use. The factory tool is a breeze
to use, and built to last. No muss, no fuss. I will gladly pay more
for a proper working tool. I don't have time to screw around with poor
tools as all I succeed in doing is raising my blood pressure.
My philosophy on tools is that I buy them for life. My first criteria
is that a tool should work properly without having to kluge it. The
second thing is that the quality needs to be there. What good is a tool
that keeps breaking. After all that comes price.
