[s-cars] Need to replace my radio - Advice Needed

Steve,

I hope you know (and sorry to disappoint you if you do not) but we 
cannot simply just replace the "radio" (or head unit i think you mean) 
in our cars. The BOSE system uses a very proprietary way of producing 
sound to the speakers and so no other head units can be swapped out in 
place of them.

Without going w/ another BOSE head unit (and a compatible one at that), 
you are in for replacing the head unit along with all 6 speakers in the 
car (the rear doors have 2 extra speakers in an avant) and the sub 
woofer in the cargo area.

really sucks, but maybe try having yours repaired? many on the list 
have recommended these guys and used them:
