Hi Kevin
This is some good news. Anybody know of a head unit which will fit and
provide in dash CD player?
Thanks
Aaron

Matt & other interested parties:
What is written above is not the case. You can replace the head unit
with an aftermarket unit. You can also use the factory head unit with
aftermarket amps and speakers. The interface from the head unit (the
"pre outs") to the amplifers is totally standard 1Vrms line level audio.
This confusion arises, I guess, from the fact that the Bose amplifers
are forever mated to the Bose speakers and vice versa. You can't
replace speakers without replacing the amplifers. But the head unit
does not factor in.
I am running the Gamma CC head unit from my '94 with aftermarket
speakers and amplifers. It works fine.
