Tony-
the best solution I found was to box in a 24 row Mocal cooler in the
same location as the stock with just a bit more tilt.
To give you some history, I went through a number of different
coolers- first I put two stock ones back to back with two simple
fittings. Next I machined up a plate to be able to use a Porsche 911
cooler and install it in the stock location. I vented the wheel
liner and boxed all of this in. I still did not get the max cooling
I wanted for towing.
So I checked out other cooler solutions--I bought a few from junk
yards to check out--an RX-7 turbo cooler which is a beautiful piece
but way too long, a BMW chin oil cooler that was very compact, and a
Merc turbo diesel oil cooler.
In the end I just installed the Mocal in the same location. You buy
the transition fittings from metric to AN through any Parker catalog.
