[s-cars] Helmet + sunroof = ?

A good friend of mine is 6'5" and although he has never been in my urs6, his favorite cars to drive are a mid 80s 911 and mid 80s Lotus Esprit Turbo. Seems my buddy Gary is all waist and short (regular) legs. Something about the way those seats were set that he was comfortable in and had the head room clearance he wanted (enough to buy the cars) for track use.
I myself like my seat very upright (probable due to broken vertibrae in the past). Never really noticed but maybe my buddy liked his reclined a little and that's why he was comfortable in those smaller cars. Don't know, but the preferred driving position has a lot to do with who fits in what car.

I'm not prone to neither disagreements nor dare I say arguments with fellow
listers. That said, I don't see any way in ____ that 6'6" with helmet (or
without) can fit comfortably in our beloved ur-S. Perhaps the key here is
comfortably, or perhaps it's all about physique. I really dunno but my 6'6"
brother is miserable (without helmet) riding with me. I am 6'3" and feel
like I am at the edge of comfort. Now if I had a REAL short torso...
Just my 2 zloty,
Mark

I'm 6'-6" tall. I have to carefully put myself in but can do it.
IOW, it's possible. sliding the sunroof cover back helps.
