[s-cars] NAC - Help with excel

Mark,
There are a couple of different options. The first question I have is how
many data points do you have and is it a monotonic list of RPM, i.e. ever
increasing and sequential. Let's assume you have more than 32768 but less
than 65536, then I would split the data up into two different sets of
columns and just average cells 1&2 in the first row, then cells 3&4, etc.
Populate a new column with these averages. This will give you less than
your limit of points. I believe 32768 may also be the limit for total
number of rows, which means you will have to break the data into multiple
"column sets." Still no problem for the algorithm I described above. If
you need 3 columns into one then average cells 1,2,3 to get your first cell
in the new column. Does this make sense?

Subject: [s-cars] NAC - Help with excel
Any excel guru's out here.
I have a *bunch* of data to parse in order to make a Dyno chart.
Ie. there are many instances at the same RPM, and the HP /TQ may vary by 1
throughout the block of 100 or so entries at that RPM range.
Please let me know if you can help.
Offline is fine, or online for a free excel lesson :-)
