[s-cars] Missin'- Car is constipated

I have 168K miles.  Trying to save some money & I was almost out of gas, I
stopped at ARCO for a tank full.  Now my car is missing with no torque.  My
next tank I put Techroline & filled up with Chevron Super.  It is sluggish &
getting bad gas mileage & runs rough-like & it's shaking.  I sometimes smell
a plastic-like burning smell.  I have boost.  I ran VAG-Tools & no codes
showed up.  I replaced the spark plugs (F5DPOR) & air filter, but not the
Beru rubber boots (I was lazy, but I have new ones & I'll probably replace
them).  The plugs were oily & fouled, but changing them produced no change
in performance.  POS?  I've replaced one already before, but I had an
intermittent missing with the POS problem, this is constant as if the car is
constipated.
