[s-cars] VLAC

Just having been to the new cr show here in Denver I will have to say that
the options are pretty pathetic...so much so I just dropped a good chunk of
money into my UrS4 because I don't see anything on the horizon that really
interests me that much, especially that meets your requirements (which are
similar to mine).
If it doesn't have to be AWD then I would go hands down for the Acura TL.
The TSX is probably a little small for the 4 adult requirement...especially
after being spoiled by the UrS in this category. The Acura RL (larger) is
available in AWD but only a slushbox so that's probably out. The Dodge
Magnum with the Hemi and AWD would be good but certainly don't go looking
for economy here, nor a manual. I don't like the looks of it but that's a
personal choice deal. If the TSX is large enough then the Subaru 2.5GT
would be the way to go as it is in the same size bracket. Very nice car,
unless memory seats are a big deal to you, like they are in my family.
Personally, after the experience I had today at the Stealer, where they told
me that an A6 with 37k miles on it and warped rotors is a "comfort issue"
and not covered under warranty as of Jan '05 I wouldn't buy a new Audi if it
was the last car on the face of the planet. It seems like their warranty
service has come down to VW standards....apparently it is normal for a $40k
car to vibrate when it brakes from 60 mph...learn something new every day :)
Does anybody make anything worth a damn anymore???????

Forgot to mention that a slushbox is not an option. (Thank God!)
Are any of the hybrids worth having?
