Chris,

It may only be a blown turbo ... once the turbine shaft rings go, the turbo 
fills the exhaust with oil. A rebuild kit is around $100, to have a turbo 
shop do it for you is around $300...removal of the turbo and re-install 
costs, aside.

Check your sparkplugs. If they are relatively dry, then the turbo seals 
would be my guess.
