[s-cars] Clunk

Hi again Y'all,

In the last few days Miss Piggy (~220K miles) has picked up a new annoying 
habit.  When braking to a stop or a near stop she is letting out a single 
"Clunk" when nearly stopped (doing maybe 2-3 mph - just before coming to a 
full stop).  It doesn't happen during any other situation - not during a 
major brake check or when dropping a quick 30 or 40 mph due to a V1 alert 
or when gently braking to match the speed of the car ahead.  It's only when 
nearly stopped.

I pulled the RR wheel and poked and prodded and pushed around in the area 
and was unable to elicit any untoward movements in the RR suspension.  The 
brake caliper is secure.  The Bilstein strut appears not to be loose.  The 
strut bearing nut is tight as are the four bolts/nuts holding the top of 
the strut in place. There doesn't appear to be any excessive play in any of 
the bushings so far as I could tell.

Has anyone else encountered such a clunk?  If so, what was it in your 
case?  Suggestions?
