There are a few of those standoffs, they also have plastic rods in them that 
prevents them from compressing in to allow the board to separate.

In the connector there are two tangs that need to be pressed in with a thin 
screwdriver.
Lift the back up till the ribbon cable is taught, then click the to tangs 
and slide the top board away from the front of the case...

That make any sense ?
