This past weekend, I spent some time freshening up the suspension. I
replaced both rear camber links (lasted about a year before the bushings went),
both front control arms, both front tie rod assemblies, installed the 28mm front
swaybar found on the S6+, and installed the 2B camber plates... and then off
to the alignment shop. Oh, and a set of slotted Zimmerman 323x30 rotors,
courtesy of the group buy arranged by lister "bluemaxww1."

After this was completed, I headed out on my 830 mile "commute" from Denver
back to Boise.

For a 3800lb pig... this thing sure does well. The changes to the front
tightened up the feel considerably, and it is handling very well. Each time I
take a long trip in this car... I'm reminded how much I love it. And the
slotted rotors... no more brake noise!

For those interested in the front bar, it can be had from Sunset (talk to
Tim) for about $155. Pretty cheap really.

You'll need the bar (4A0-411-309-K), and 2 inner bushings (4A0-411-327-J).

Also, for those needing to do front end work... Blau has the front control
arms and tie rod assemblies on sale... 88.95 for the control arms, and 54.95
for the tie rod assemblies. This is very cheap to what I remember paying the
first time through.
Take care,
Dave
