[s-cars] Generic DOT 4 or Pentosin 11 for Power Steering reservoir

My car just burped lots of fluid out of the power steering reservoir
for some unknown reason.  I had a little generic DOT 4 fluid that I
inadvertantly put an ounce or 2 into this reservoir.  I don't think
this is what I should have done.  I have 2 questions.

1.  Has anybody else had the reservoir burp?

2.  Do I need to flush this DOT 4 out of the system?  Is there a
recommended procedure for flushing the power steering system?
