Sorry for the hijack.
My local RS did not have that exact bulb. They did have that bulb but with insulation on the wires.
Will this be an issue, can I strip the insulation?

You want a Radio Shack part number 272-1092 for about $1.60
for a package of two bulbs. This web page has pictures of the
Radio Shack package and instructions on replacing the bulb.
