[s-cars] Parts Needed

The climate control takes (2) 2.0W bulbs and (2) .9 W bulbs. They are
different shades of green.
The lower wattage ones go behind the display, and the brighter ones
illuminate the buttons. I replaced the .9W ones with the 1.1 W orange
based bulbs...same ones that go behind the instrument cluster. I think it
looks a lot better as the display needed some brightening up.
sorry, I don't have the part numbers... I found them at the Audi dealer.

Chris is right the Climate Control otherwise known as "HVAC" unit should not
be confused with the "outside temperature display". There was an excellent
write up on UrS4.com for both but it doesn't seem accessible anymore... I
guess it hasn't been transferred to s-cars.org yet :-( Try contacting Darin
for the write up...
893-919-040A 2.0W bulbs with the large square green base from Rod at The
Parts Connection.

He is having problems with the display for the climate control, not the
outside temperature reading.
This link is for the outside temperature display, which is NOT what he
needs info on.
