[s-cars] A/C retrofit- is it silly?

Actually, the parts from STi's are in high demand to the WRX crowd, so
it's up there on the "cars stolen for parts" lists.  The seats retail
over 500/ea street value, the instrument cluster should get 300 or so,
the wheels you could get 1k easy, the 2.5 block and heads are in
demand as well as the gearbox and diffs, all of which bolt up to a
WRX.  Between that and the exterior panels, you're looking at clearing
about 10k in parts if you do it right.

There isn't really a black market for the German stuff as much as the
Japanese stuff.  Ask anyone who's had an Integra Type R.  About 2 out
of every 3 ITR owners I've known have had their cars stolen around
here just for parts.  When I say parts, I mean they took everything
but the frame rails.
